Superhatch, Portgual

by PKMN
2013

Superhatch developed by PKMN and curated by Ariadna Cantis took place at the 2013 Lisbon Architecture Triennale as an associated project of .Close, Closer’.

Superhatch proposes an analogical re-interpretation in real scale of a digital graphic tool: Cad Hatch Patterns – which don’t have a relative scale although they’re used to represent the real materials on-screen that are used when designing public space and cities.

To give physical form to this point of discussion PKMN along with volunteers went about drawing hatch patterns and objects with plastic tape onto surface of a square in Lisbon.
