The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland commissioned dotdash to implement a ten year plan to transform 22 hectare at the Brisbane Showgrounds site into a mixed-use precinct.
The first phase of the plan was to focus around the heritage of the site, focusing on the Royal International Convention Centre and arrival plaza.
They designed two brightly coloured illuminated markers embodying the high energy of the EKKA all year long, providing the site with a clear identity and also hinting at hat the feature phases of the project might be.
As the ten year project unfolds, the site will receive four additional radiant jewels in the crown.
