The typeface «Uni» relates to the sharply fractured edges of the facade of the refurbished old post office which creates a strong identity to the new building of Lucerne University (Universitat/Padagogische Hochschule Luzern).
 
The floor numerals melt into the wall surface: on the 2 lower levels the numerals are spared of the heavily structured white and silver concrete walls, on the 4 upper levels the numerals are embedded in green and purple coloured plaster.
